Here is my problem-
My pump will not turn on.

It kicks over (cant do it every try) if i wiggle the wire / pull it out and push it in. So that
leads me to believe that it is a loose wire inside my pump.

And yes I have tried a different wire and Power Supply.



What can I do?

I would suggest replacing it? :)

If it is an internal issue (cold solder, bad wire) then, unless you wish to take the chance to open it up (with all the seals and shit in it, I dunno).

No easy fix here.

After you are all booted up and then unplug and re-plug the pump, does it then run every time? If the answer is yes it’s just possible that on boot you are a bit low on voltage on your 12volt rail.

Pop the blue cover off and see if you have any broken wires. Get the manual from FrozenCPU and make sure you are not in the AUTO mode. Configure the pump for stock operation and retry.
 
thanks for the help.

I did forget to mention that the plug in area of the pump is loose. by this i mean you can push it in and pull it parly out when you unplug it.

I do have enough power. I have a 600w PSU and one 2 fans and 2 lights along with the
pump are running of that wire.
 
It's very easy to pop off the blue cap. Inside there is a PCB that you can pop out as well.

There's a couple wires that connect the power source to the PCB that use crimp-on quick disconnects. I found mine to not have the tightest of fits, so I squeezed the female end a bit with pliers and reconnected them.

Yep I have the same pump, well v 1.0 at least. I didn't have a problem as I popped open that blue cap before and noticed the connectors were not super tight before putting it into my system (curiosity... heh).
