I'm running openfiler for shared storage and I'm having an issue mounting the share as a drive.

and here is the map network drive window

I've been up for 36 hours and might not be thinking straight, what am I missing?

I have the client for nfs windows feature installed on Windows 7 Enterprise x64.

#1: that colon before the slash?
#2: wrong slashes?
#3: no backslashes before the IP address; required?
#4: you wouldn't need "/mnt/" in the path, would you?

j-sta,

I've tried every combination of the share path to mount this share, I'm really at a loss. I would say that the share isn't reachable but in fact it's running multiple server vm's at the moment so I know it's working.

I'm really pulling my hair out over this and if I can't find a solution or figure out what I'm doing wrong I will be sunk.

what happens if you just pull up \\192.168.51.3 ?

it comes back with...

\\192.168.51.3 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use the network resource.

I double checked the share in openfiler and I gave RW permission to NFS and it's set to public guest access and no_root_squash is checked.

well I don't know anything about NFS or openfiler honestly, but it certainly sounds like a permission issue.
