Hi all,
I've been using OCed Q6600 @ 3.6 ghz initially when i bought this chip a month ago. While surfing the internet i used to use it at stock. Now all of a sudden it refuses to boot above 3.2ghz.Am getting blue screens everytime i try. Done CMOS twice no use.
What could be the cause?
Something like this happened to anyone before?
:confused::confused:

It *is* possible to damage a chip so it no longer overclocks. What voltages are you using?

Could be a lot of stuff. what's your voltages/settings? Does it blue screen without the overclock? The no boot could just be settings, but blue screens might be corruption. Could be stuck values in your memory. Make sure by running memtest to check for errors....er...really need more info.

^ Thanks for posting guys.
Vcore: 1.45
MCH: 1.33
DDR@ V: 2.2 (rated)
With these settings it was IntelBurn test stable.
