i was switching the speakers on my computer when it was on and i accidentally got a plug stuck in one of the usb/firewire ports (forget which one) and my computer shut off. i turn of my power supply and turned it back on again and started my computer, and i got one of those blue error screens while xp was loading. wtf? i cleared the bios, and removed all of the unnecesary hardware. what could have happened? would a repair installation of xp work?
 
What exactly was the last thing you saw before the blue screen?

What unnecessary hardware did you disconnect?
