Wasn't completely sure where to put this post, but I need everyone's input.

I want to subscribe to a PC magazine and am unsure of which one to pick. So instead of settling on one without reading it, I decided to request everyone's opinion on this subject.

Just a little about me, I prefer a more technical magazine that offers very definitive articles on hardware, computer science, as well as reviews.

Your opinion is appreciated

I'd also check out mygazines.com to see if theres any decent computer subscriptions you'd like. As of right now, you can read whatever you want as much as you want.

screw MaxPC. CPU all the way. really the only computer magazine worth reading.

maxPC's articles are all 2-3 months old. at least CPU's are good for when you read them.

MaximumPC is a great mag but I wouldnt say its heavy or deep into technical stuff. Their articles are too short for that IMO. Of course thats what I like about MaxPC. Minimal BS as they say. All that technical drivel would just bore me as it would most people.

I second CPU. I read it every time I fly :D

Maximum PC is my favorite. Running a close second is CPU or computer power user. CPU gets real technical. Maximum PC is more for light reading.

I picked up Maximum PC, PC Gamer, and Discover magazine for 22 bux for a years subscription (pretty sweet ass deal). CPU was another thought of mine but its much more expensive, so I just went with maximum pc
