Help me to OC my AMD64 3000 Venice

Hey guys,

This is going to be my first attempt to OC. What I have tried was to change the CPU mult-5X and Hyper Transport-3X and couldn't find the RAM Divider (probably don't know what it is) so I left that alone. Boot my system back and my CPU went down to 1.01GHZ instead of 1.8. What did I do wrong here? I have an ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe. Please guide me through this process as I really want to mess with this CPU.
 
that's exactly what's supposed to happen

cpu clock = cpu multi * htt/fsb

now, the memory divider/ratio thingy might not be directly marked as such. just look for something that gives you an option of 100 to 200mhz in about 5 steps, or 200 to 400

Read again, and read other peoples experiences. Don't be lazy, read.
