I'm planning to buy a new monitor to replace my old Samsung 940NW.

My options are;

LED:

Samsung BX2450
Samsung PX2370
Lg W2486L-PF
Samsung BX2231

LCD:

Asus VH242H

It's hard to decide. People give different opinions about them and i can't make a definitive decision.

Because those are the best options that i can find in Turkey's market. I'll use it mostly for gaming. But feel free to recommend, that doesn't mean those are the only ones available here.

LG W2442PA is good, but it may be more then then some of those where you are, same goes for the Acer G245H if you can handle a glossy screen. They both retail around 200$ here and are both superior to the PX2370 which is the best of the ones you have selected (and it isn't good), they are 2/3rd's the price of the PX2370 here as well. LED backlighting is a gimmick and an excuse to charge more, commonly the Edge Lit LED models have worse screen uniformity compared to their CCFL brothers.

You can see the Acer compared to the PX2370 here.

That Acer model is not availabe here. I could only find 3d version of that model which was ridiculously expensive.

I agree with you about LED vs. LCD. That's why i picked up an LCD model to choose. What can you say about ASUS VH242H? I read pretty good things about it.

There are only customer reviews so I cant say really. The Asus VE246H gets a good review on PRADE.de, is it or any of its successors (ve247/ve248) avaliable? What about Fujitsu models?

I honestly didn't know Fujitsu made TV's.

Another suggestion is the LG IPS226V, other wise I'm not sure what other quality monitors to suggest. The LG W2442PA is really good, I guess it's not avaliable either?

I guess i'll go with Asus VH242H. Seems like the only good option atm. I couldn't find a professional review but i'll count on user reviews.

I think due to lack of qualified people interested in computer displays there are only "popular" models out here. They only import what they sell.

On the contrary it takes like only 1 day to start selling a newly released GPU. It's all about customer potential. :/.
