Hello all.. I'm new here and I am planning on soon dumping out my old eMachines celeron and getting a REAL computer. This will be my first build. I've pretty much selected most of my components except for the case. I'm looking to spend under $100 on it and I would like a window, and I don't want some weird looking case that's trying to look cool. Just something relatively simple, has decent airflow, and decent quality. I also very much like the shiny interior as apposed to the dull grey one but that's more of a novelty then a necessity for me. So please recommend me something! So far, I've looked at the Centurion 5 but I'm not completely satisfied with it (the interior is grey, and it just looks a little too "budgety") although I will go with it if no other reasonable options arise. Here are my specs (also feel free to recommend any other parts to change :).)

(I will probably we purchasing it when the Intel price drops come)
CPU: E6320
MOBO: Gigabyte DS3
RAM: G.Skill PC6400 2GB
HSF: Zalman 9500/9700/Fatal1ty(just found this one today, don't know too much about it since it's not very popular) or a Tuniq Tower
GFX: 8800GTS 320MB (I'm not too much of a gamer but I do want the ability to play games if I do want to so I'm not getting the 640 version. I also only have a 14x9 monitor)
Sound: X-FI Xtremegamer
Speakers: X-540s (will these let me experience the X-Fi's to it's potential?)
PSU: Corsair 520W
HDD: Barracude 7200.16 320GB

One other thing I forgot to add.. Easy wire management would be very nice in my case since I do not plan on doing any modding to it. I hear the Centurion 5 is rather lacking at that?

i had a centurion 5, it is a good case but got a lil cramped for me, i replaced that with an aspire/apevia x navigator and regret that decision cause it was a down grade in quality.

my suggestion is a lian li PC-65B PLUS II, it cost $135 but lian li will give great quality and there should be no issues with air flow (120mm fan on front and side, 80mm at rear and top).

or an antec 900 ($120 for now), also good air flow and from what i've read the build quality is good too

the PC-65 that i linked has a 120mm fan on the window and a slide out motherboard tray, if your willing to mod the window on the PC-7B you could put a fan in yourself. otherwise, the dimmensions of the 2 cases are the same.

not sure about the tuniq, the lian li cases (210mm) are a lil wider than the centurion 5 (202mm), i wouldnt expect an issue with the lian li. try searching for posts about the tuniq or lookin thru the case gallery

yes, performance-pcs is a reputable site, one of their employee's was on this forum but got baned for some reason (levellord)
