i have on of my desktops connected to the internet wirelessly...is there anyway i can hook my other desktop into that desktop using cat-5 and share the internet?.. i've tried it one way but it says i can't use it because there is already an ip in the network with 192.168.0.1

I use a program called MagikDHCP for this. Install on the computer with wireless, set the computers hardwired IP to 192.168.0.1, then reboot. Connect the other computer to the computer with the wireless.
Now to set up the ICS you need to choose which connection you are sharing. Then you also need to set up the ICS on the secondary computer as well.

should the default gateway for both the wireless and the lan connection be the same?
i have one computer that is hooked up to my wireless router wirelessly. and then i have another computer that is hooked into the first computer by cat-5. is it really possible to share the internet from one to the other?
