Meh, search works great. XP-120 is still the best performer out there although the new copper XP-90 is close to it. The 120 uses a 120mm fan so it pushes more air and same DB level. Personally I think XP-120 is best bet if its not too big enough for you and will fit your mobo (wont on some). But the copper XP-90 is a good choice as well. Hyper6 isn't bad but doesn't cool AS well, looks ugly IMO, and if you toss more than 1 fan on it for a push/pull.. more sound and I dont think it works fantastic.

IMO the Thermaltake silent boost K8 cant be beat for the price :) quiet as hell and keeps my OC'ed winnie at a nice and cool 32-35 idle 45load

:)

XP-120 is my vote to if you have room for it. It's on par with cheap water cooling and also does a good job of cooling your mosfets, ram and back of your video card at the same time.

Plus it looks awsome if you have a windowed case. I've got a blue led antec 120mm on mine which is quiet and looks snazzy :)

allrighty thanks guys im going with the Thermalright XP-90 only because the manufacurer says the XP-120 wont fit, any of you hear about someone modding the heatsink to fit like by cutting the fins on the bottom to clear any obsicals or is it worth the hassle over the XP-90??
PS: I have a MSI NEO 2 PLATINUM MoBo

yeea it can....the hyper 6 up at the top :p

Yeah, XP-120 definately fits the Neo2 Plat...got one myself. It's a monster too!

Please dont talk in elite language...
If you want silence Zalman cannot really be beaten there :), their 7700s kick ass, but because I also have a MSI K8N Neo2, I had to settle for a 7000B, but it is still quite good, still trying to sort out some unrelated heat problems right now though.
For maximum cooling performance go with the XP-90. I have never had one but it seems to be a firm favourite here.

Again, never had one, but the XP-90 seems to be a sure winner when the XP-120's size/price doesn't fit ;) . Pair it up with a nice 92mm panaflo and you'll have a quiet, high performance system

Cool, Thanks alot for the advice guys, you are the people who make the [H] forum great!! thanks again
