My specs:

AMD 64 3200+
A8N-SLI Del.
Gold Series 2-2-2-5 1T OCZ
Audigy ZS Gamer Limited Edition
EVGA 7800gt CO

Ok well, I tried overclocking but I couldn't get the FSB past 220, I believe its because of my RAM timings. But I was wondering if anyone has experience with my type of ram modules. I would like to overclock about 300-500mhz. In any event could someone help me?

Thank you.

Blake

You don't say if your RAM is PC3200 or PC3500 or PC4000.......

When ocing, you've gotta find the max of each component.....ONE AT A TIME!!!

So to find the max of your cpu......lower the RAM down to 100mhz, your LDT multi to x3 or x4.

There's loads of ocing guide on the net and I'm sure there's a few on this site too.

I assume you are using a devider? Without a devider your ram would be at 220, too high for pc3200. I have a 3200+ also (venice core) and 220 is nothing with those. I can get mine to 250 easy with just a volt increase to 1.5v. I am running it stock until I get my si 120 (stock heatsink sux) but other then temps, its a oc dream.

Oh btw, I also got a evga 7800 gt (not the oc tho), got mine to 494/1.20, have you overclocked it? if so how high have you got it.

I got my Venice 3200+ running at 2.5 stable.

I lowered my HTT multi to 4x.
Loosened my timings 2.5 3 3 8
Up the FSB to 250
Change the mem divider to 166 or PC2700 or whatever that setting was and all is chill.
I left the CPU multi to 10.

I am not responsible for you blowing up your processor.
These are my settings for my cpu.

Ok thats fine haha.

Well I am asking what settings I should try.. sorry if I wasn't clear. Like what timings would work best to still get performance at top notch out of my rig.

I didnt overclock my video card yet. Is there really a need? Just a awesome card.. :)
