Hey guys, I just got a new asus p4c800 deluxe and a m0 2.4. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get this thing to run at 3.5+ ghz. I have a water cooling set up. Some problems I've had so far is that I can push it to 250 fsb absoultely fine. I set my ram to run at 400mhz, but in cpuz its going at 500. Im stilling trying to figure out how to run a 5:4 or a 1:1. Does anyone have any tips on overclocking with this set up, or just some things I should note before going higher?

I have an Asus P4P800, I'll assume that your Bios is similar. Instead of having ratios, Asus has you set the ram "speed". This speed is only accurate if you keep the stock 200 FSB. They go up as you raise the FSB.

Basically, a setting of 400 is 1:1, a setting of 333 (or whatever it is) is 5:4 and a setting of 266 is 3:2. That should help you out.

I have my 2.4C m0 running at 3.5Ghz on default voltage, and using the intel retail heatsink. This is using the "266" setting, and running with real tight memory settings. I run 41C under load.

You should do well with water cooling - Good Luck!

Alright, thanks man. I tried thisa 260fsb setting ram to 320 (5:4) and the mobo wouldnt post. I guess I'll up the vcore a bit more. One thing I am thinking is that the corsair I have doesnt like to have such loose timings at low speeds. Could this be possible? I have heard of muskin level 2 not liking loose timings and I think this might be a similar case.
