ok what i am running is what u see below. If you've read the Prime95 won't pass overclock, thats my thread. anyway here's what i have, AMD 2500+, stepping code AMDA2500KV4D, AQZFQ411WPMV, my board can only run voltage of 1.8v for the cpu and 2.7v for the ram. i can't pass prime at 200x11-190x11-at 1.8v to 1.775v. at 195 or above i get hardlocks. ram timings i have tried have been 2-2-2-11, 2-3-2-5/6/7,2-3-3-8, 2-2-3-11 and the sort i know if i mess around with these timings it can help. Have yet to run Memtest86 even though this ram is fairly new, have no idea if this can be causing hardware failure in prime or inaccurate rounding. if i try and boost my v, and fsb at the same time for some reason my screen goes dead and nothing boots. i have no idea what to do and i have tried everything. should i give up and stick with the 2500+, keep trying even though i have been for the past 3 weeks. Anyone in NYC wanna come over and help me out. it'll be appreciated. me wants stable for 24hours and no runtime errors in UT boards. help!

ok lets settle in!
First of all this board is rock solid for me!
What bios?
What type of ram?
Dual or single,
what configuration the ram be (what slots)
The board is very finacky about the ram it wants to keep company with!
Do you have the 12V plugged in?
Stop runnin all over the place
Set the board at default
run ye memtest
Break it in slowly
When you have determined that you be stable then start fiddling about!
Not sure but you might want to check yur amps on yur PS,this is one hungry board.

I know it's none of my business
But, No need to talk that way to your CPU
Talk nice to it and you'd be surprised what good will come!

Bios version 7.7
Ram is PMI Turbo PC3200 Stock 2-3-2-6 running in dual channel a gig as well.
Slots 2-3.
I'm assuming i have the 12v plugged in. Board is now at default. I will test mem later tonight. and how do i check my amps on my PS.

Check the label on your PS or webit
There is a 4 prong molex (I think) right below the main power connector
Take the 1 stick out of the 3rd slot and test the mem one stick at a time in the regular slots.
Then place both sticks in non duel mode and and test.
Again this board is real fussy about ram
Also in the bios run the ram at 1:1 ratio.

do a search at the MSI sight . It should answer any questions
The board is a schweet piece,
Remember if you want to "Plug and Play" by a Dell or somethey!

here's what my ps says +5v max 25a min 0a, +12v max 18a min 0.8a, +3.3v max 28a min 0a. its an antec truepower 380v standard with the sonata case.

ok did memtest for about 18hrs and no problems can't be the memory, did an extended test with both in dual, then i did both seperately on default. everything seems to be fine. now what do i do?

Hell, I gave up for memtest results...

Im using Kingston Vr, pc2700 , and it can pass 24hours of testing at 225MHz fsb, 1:1 ratio...........

THATS not possible,,,
