Please recommend a good “most bang for my buck” upgrade. I game and encode video, mainly. I’m looking for more gaming performance, really. Here are my current specs:

Abit IC7 motherboard
3.4ghz Pentium 4 Prescott @ 3.73ghz
1GB Corsair pc3200 @ 219mhz
PNY 6800 GT @ 405/1.15
200GB WD w/8mb buffer
Etc…

I was going to spend around $800.00 on the upgrade. What do y’all think?
 
Quit being a moron, bring all your stuff to me, then go spend all that money on yourself a new one.
 
Come on guys. You all know that no matter how fast your system is, you always want it to be faster. I take it you don't have any ideas.
 
That's what I was leaning towards. But then I started thinking about sli, or maybe an X800XT PE.
 
Well, currenlty myself, as you can tell by my sig, am way behind on the power/gaming world :)

But I hear SLI is great, if you can afford it. X800TE wouldn't be bad, but I wouldn't think you would see an over increase as you would with an new MB & Proc.
