Maybe I just got a chip that isn't a great sample, but I'm having trouble getting my new kuma 7750 to run at 3.2 GHz. Even at 1.45v it fails out of OCCT after 15-20 mins or so. I've got a Xigmatek 1283 cooler on it running in a Gigabyte 790X mobo with g.skill 1066. I am just using the multi to clock it, with cool&quiet turned off. are there any other tweaks I should be looking at?

Also, do I need to do anything with the ACC feature or is that only for "real" phenoms and not the kuma?

yeah turn ACC on.. the kuma is a phenom I with 2 cores disabled.. also good luck getting over 3.2ghz.. your about near its limit and my best bet is that you dont have enough voltage going to it.. if you can manage the insane amount of heat the core makes try 1.5v and see if it becomes stable.. the kuma is rated up to 1.6v

Ok, great! I had previously tried 1.5v with no luck, but after enabling ACC, it's stable at 3.2 GHz at 1.5v and tops out at around 38-39c :)

So for the guys that think ACC doesn't help, it def did in my case
Thanks for the input!

My 7750 BE is in a M3A78-CM mated with a set of F2-8500CL5D-2GBPKs and depending on its mood it'll run 3.17 - 3.22 GHz. The board is voltage limited so that may be an issue for me. However you may want to try dropping the mem to 800 and bump up the Freq. :D
