Hi guys, been a long time since I have really been overclocking. Now I want to try and overclock my 1055t and get some extra performance out of it. I am using this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157198

I also just bought these and plan on putting them in http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314

Can someone help me with the O/C process since I've been out of the game since my amd xp 2100 cpu and 9800 pro video card.

I am planning on buying either a 7850/7870/660(non ti) whichever has the best upcoming deal and plan on utilizing the performance boost in gaming.

I have a stock cooler on my cpu (yeah i know i know) but I have a thermaltake armor+ full tower case with a nice 120mm side fan and 2 fans on the bottom, a fan in the front, and rear.

Can someone help me with the recommended software I should be using and what it does to overclock/stress test for stability/measure temperatures. I have a few days to wait until I complete my build with a new video card and want to utilize the time I have to get a good OC on my cpu and ram and be ready for oc'ing my video card.

Oh and I just bought Windows 8 so any programs and steps need to be okay for that.
