My problem is that my goal is to run at 4 GHz and why you may ask!! Because i should be able to, according to others.

What am i doing wrong? What should i try??

What are your gat settings? If you haven't already turn the last 2 to disabled, and at the same time, your on vapo, so give it some juice. You wont be garunteed 4ghz, depends on the batch of chip you recieved.

I'd say you're doing pretty damn good. You may be able to get it up a couple more notches, but not all 3.0c's are capable of 4Ghz, much less stable at 4.

No matter what your stepping is, there is no "should be able to" about it.

If it just won't post at anything higher and you've already done all you can, your only real option is to buy another 3.0C.

Not all 3.0Cs will go up to 4GHz. I'm willing to bet some won't even hit 3.5GHz. No matter the stepping, no CPU is guaranteed to go up.

If I were you, I'd either buy another 3.0C (it looks like you have the money to...) or be content with your 3.6GHz.

I doubt it'd be stable at 4GHz anyways.

I need to get cracking on getting my 3.0C higher on air cooling. Right now It's been running at stock speeds. I just installed it a couple days ago.

I've just been lazy about doing it.
