I just got my Sceptre X20WC-Gamer the other day and I can't find any drivers for it! The ones that came on the disc are all for the Naga series and are designed for 22" and 30" lcds. The Sceptre website doesn't even have an updated driver for them.

Help! I can only play BF2 at 1280x960 right now! I need my sweet 1680x1050!

If anyone can find drivers for this display, I'd be very gracious. I've been looking for the past two days and can find absolutely nothing.

the drivers have noting to do with your game

the problem with your game, is a problem with your game. you need to find out how to manually change the res in your game to the res u want. games not playing at the res u want, must be fixed in the game. windows/drivers do not control the res in games. driver would only effect the res (the subsequently the top res in a game once the is fixed to accept the top res)
you need to google the res fix for your game (as i don't play many)

I don't think there actually are drivers for monitors. They may call them drivers, but they are really just files with information about the monitor such as what resolutions, refresh rates, etc. it can display.

Plug and play monitors don't require any drivers....if you do find drivers it will probably be either an ic color profile or a proprietary color calibration program that works through windows. Neither of which are required..

EA does not and will not support WS resoultion you will have to manually set them.
You need to add/edit your shortcut properties, right click your desktop shortcut and add this to Target
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050
It will be alLittle stretched, but as i said, BF2 and BF2142 does not have wide screen support cause EA/Dice says widescreen gives others a unfair advantage over others that dont have it. What a load of crap. But anyways add that line in your short cut

Yes, they are full of crap. Even if widescreen was available, like in other competitive games, the best FPS gamers would still be gaming on 4:3 CRT's to avoid input lag and motion blur.

Yup but you know how EA/Dice is  They listen to the whiners and crybabies

Ah, I was mislead about the drivers, then. Thanks for the information, everyone. I'll modify my target line and see how it all works out.
