i can mount a 120mm rad, but i thought a 160mm rad is better than 120mm. i wanted it internal, and there is just no space for a 240mm even if i want it. so my option is 160mm or 120mm. but like i said, i thought 160mm is better.

how many fittings do i need on this set-up? i was looking at 1/2 fittings, but i can't seem to find the fittings for the aqua computer cuplex that is 1/2.

comments and suggestions please. this is my first water cooling. i dont need GPU cooling right now or northbridge maybe later on i will. [/font]

P.S.: i dont want any swiftech parts, as i've read from this forum that their RMA sucks and too much problem. I just don't want to deal with that.
 
Aqua Computer is Euro Small-bore. No 1/2".

No, 2x80 < 1x120.
 
A single 120mm rad has more area than the 2X80mm rad though. I've gone with dual 80mm rads and yes, they do work but if you've got the room for a 120 then by all means don't hamstring yourself.

Try finding the 3/8 threads, then run a small amount of tubing, then a 1/2" male-male.

Or, you can buy a designed-for-big-bore block, like a Storm.
 
Why 1/2" instead of 3/8"? Especially if you want the Cuplex EVO.

There will be restriction downconverting a 1/2" loop to the 4/6/8mm channels found inside the Cuplex EVO. The stock threads on it are G18", which are rather small too.

I dont know if the EVO will scale well with the D5 pump - since there's only a certain amount of an increase you'll get with more flow, it might not be all that great for that block.
