I will be ordering either the NEC MultiSync LCD2180UX 21 http://www.computershopper.co.uk/sh...-lcd2180ux.html or the Samsung 243T - 24" within the next hour and wanted any last minutes opinions as to which one to buy. I will be using it for gaming mainly. For the review of the Samsung just type into google Samsung 243T - 24 review.

Thanks in advance:)

You probably don't want to hear this but if you are buying a monitor that you will use mainly for gaming, CRT is the way to go. If I had the money I'd get the Samsung right away but I don't play games that much. If I were a gamer I'd get one of those 21" Diamondtron CRT's.

Hi
I decided on the NEC MultiSync LCD2180UX 21and just orderd it.
The review i saw seemed good and no ghosting http://www.computershopper.co.uk/sh...-lcd2180ux.html

I have a huger CRT now and i hate it lol is why i want a TFT :)

The ghosting thing is very subjective. You have to keep in mind though, that EVERY LCD monitor will have at least small amount of ghosting in fast paced games. Even the 12ms ones. Also, just because they say there is no ghosting, doesn't mean there is no blurring. Like I said, that's very subjective so if ghosting bothers me doesn't mean it will bother you. Some people don't even see it's there. Haven't heard anything about the NEC though. Hope you like it :)
