Ok here are my 2 options for machines I want to build, Help me decide on which one??

Rig #1

P4 Retail Deal with 3.4 chip and Intel 915 chipset board
2x512 pc 4300 ddr 2
Asus Geforce 6600gt
200gb Seagate drive
16x NEC 3500
52x Liteon Burner
Antec 3700BQE case

Rig #2
Athlon 64 3500+
Abit or MSI KT880 chipset board
2x512 Geil pc 4000 ram
Ati All in wonder 9800 pro
200gb Seagate drive
16x NEC 3500
52x Liteon Burner
Antec 3700BQE case

The price for rig #1 would be $1075 and rig #2 is $1125.

I'm leaning toward the latter - only because of it being a Athlon 64. Newer technology - able to handle the 64-bit windows when it get's released. But that's just my opinion. =)

I vote for Rig#2 with the Asus Geforce 6600gt video card from Rig#1

I agree with darktiger, also do you plan on overclocking? That DDR500 won't make nearly as much of a difference because of the Athlon 64's intergrated memory controller, and with the money you save you can upgrade to the 6600GT, also if you are not overclocking you would be better of with VIA's chipset, because at stock they get better performance.

Are you going to use the VIVO/tuner capabilities from the AIW? I love mine, and it's a great gaming card, but you could probably find a 6800NU for around the same price.

geil ram sux

ocz, kingston hyperx, corsair, or even mushken owns geil ram

That's quite far from the truth, GeIL memory is one of the best and fastest memory you can find and is made with extremely high regard for quality, I fail to see where you pull that out from...
