Help me decide on a CPU cooler

I have three contenders. In general, my criteria is it needs to be the best performing cooler for under $65 and under 140mm in height (because of case restrictions). I plan on overclocking a Phenom II x4 955 as much as I'm able to at reasonable temps.

Here's what I've narrowed it down to.

the Thermaltake BigTyp 14Pro

the Thermolab BADA

or the Enzotech Extreme-X

I'm leaning towards the BADA since Frostytech gave it a 94% rating and Overclockersclub gave it their gold medal. Out of my requirements, it would seem that, overall, in terms of temp, the BADA is highest up on the best AMD CPU Coolers list on Frostytech - not that it's the definitive source or whatever, but idk..

That thing looks massively huge! Make sure it fits.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Cooler Master Hyper 212. They're running around $50.

go with a cooler master V8, i know it's a beast but it looks great and runs my i7 920 idle at 40 C and on load 55 C

The OP needs a heatsink that is less than 140mm tall. Next time, perhaps try actually reading the thread.

Oops. My bad, I looked at the "Fan Dimensions" spec at 120x120x25mm and thought that included the heatsink. Geez, I didnt realize that thing was that big.
 
The thermaltake one will most likely cool the best. but for the price, the BADA looks very tempting.
 
I'd take Frostytech's reviews with a pinch of salt, I don't think there charts are consistent with each other and sometimes they recommend coolers that didn't receive that great reviews from other review sites.
 
I think I may just put down the extra 10 or 15 dollars and just go for the Corsair H50. Seems like it'd be worth it.
 
Don't know if you grabbed anything yet, but I got a Zalman CNPS 8700 for my PhIIX4 and shaved over 13C off my fully loaded temps. fan is pretty quiet too and runs @ only 2600 rpm. It's low profile but clears caps and most heatsinks and cools the area around the CPU which is good cause my mobo temps were high around the socket too and this thing works great. got mine for $50 CDN @ NCIX
