Help me choose between these two please.

I have been looking for a camera for my trip for a few weeks now and I think I have it narrowed to two choices.
Cannon 510(maybe 520, a big difference? or the KODAK DX7440.

My price range is around $200. So those fit in fine. The reason I have not included other cameras is because I need one that takes an SD card(I aleady have a 512MB stick).

What do you guys think is better? I understand that the kodak has its own special battery, is that bad?

If you think that both of these Cameras suck then please feel free to suggest another one. I can and will go over $200 if it is worth it.

Have you downloaded samples from each? If you did, I think the decision will come to you quite easily.

I'd rather go with a Canon than with a Kodak any day.

I went to Circuit City today to try our both cameras. Just by looks the Kodak seemed nicer(black color, bigger lcd, etc.) When I took the pics the Kodak were so dark even with the flash, took from many angles even where there was light. The A520 was very nice though.
Any difference between the 510 and 520 for normal use? The 520 only shines if I want to take pics at a higher resolution right?
