Help me choose a radiator

I am considering running two loops, one for yet to be obtained i7 CPU, and second loop for GTX280 GPU. I need advice on the GPU loop.

I would like to cool the GPU with a PA120.3, but would require some chop, cut, rebuilding to get the radiator to fit in the case. A PA120.2 would go in by simply adding fan holes.

I am wondering if the larger rad and extra work would be worth any added cooling benefit. :confused:

Is there a way to figure out GPU temps of PA120.2 vs PA 120.3 and D-Tek Fuzion GFX 2?
 
If you're cooling a GTX280, a double radiator would be just fine... You could even save some cash and use a double MCR radiator and get within 3-4c of the thermochill.

I think I'll go with an MCR 320. I would prefer the PA120.3, but due to limits imposed by case dimenensions / power supply placement the MCR fits better.

I didn't realize the GTX280 makes so much heat. Acording to Canucks the card makes over 300 Watts at load.

I was happy to hear that the MCR 320 would be within a degree of the PA120.3 at these loads, according to Martin. I'll be over the 5C goal with med. fans, but I could always run a high speed fans + fan controller for when the card is producing lots of heat.

As it turns out I already have an MCR320 so I'll put the money towards a radiator for cooling the CPU. Now, should I get a Thermochill or TFC? :)
 
That graph shows the power consumption, under load, for the ENTIRE system... Measured at the wall... A MCR320 will cool a GTX280 and a dual core CPU without too much trouble, even with slower speed fans...
 
I'd say a duel rad(swifty or thermochill) for the cpu and a duel(swifty or thermochill) for the cpu loop.
