help me choose a "headset"

I need a set of headphones to use when I'm at a LAN. I would like to find something ubercheap (<$35 shipped) with a mic since these will be used for gaming most of the time but I'm sure I will want to listen to music on occasion.
I am a "bass head" so anything that plays good/decent bass will probably satisfy me.
I have been thinking about a pair of Altec Lansing AHS-502 or maybe audio 90's unless someone can recommend something cheaper that will still sound decent.
