Help me choose a case please.

I'm looking for a case with front filter remover(just like p182.. where u can open and clean off dust in front) ^^; I don't know the exact term;;
and lightweight of case + front panel audio and usb(probably most cases have it now)
does 900 and 1200 have front filter remover(?)

I personally have p182,CM 690.. and I like it but its too heavy.
I need to send it over to canada.
 
The lianli v1000 comes with a nice fan filter in the front. but it's damn heavy
 
1200 does. 900 does not as far as i know. not sure how much different the 1200 or 900 would be from the p182. your problem is going to be the weight. 99% of quality cases are heavier simply because they are made of thicker gauged metal. why would you need the case to be super light?? it would be prone to tipping. you shouldnt be moving your case around a whole lot anyway. i suppose you might find something made from total aluminum but i imagine it would cost a pretty penny.
 
maybe i need to rephrase my word.. decent weight of case.. not the lightweight where case is made of plastic or papers... -_-;

Ah, so you WANT a good, hefty case? None other than the CM Stacker ATC101. The original beast with dual PSU spaces. Mod the top for 2-3 140mm fans, and the same could be done to the bottom (depending on where you put your PSU(s)). You can get 4 120mm in the front, and one in the rear. Or, the 810 drops the second PSU space in lieu of an additional 120mm fan. Both can have 4 120mm fans mounted on the side panel.

That's not a very good solution to his problem. The OP is looking for a quality case with a reasonable weight so he can transport it easily. The STC-101 would be much heavier than his current case, which is kind of counterproductive.

I don't know if they have front filters, but there are a bunch of cheaper Lian-Li mid-tower cases that should fit the bill for being light and high-quality. The 900 and 1200 are both made of steel by the way, so they wouldn't be any lighter than your current cases.
 
Ah, hell. I read that totally wrong. When I was looking for the same thing as you, I adored my Sonata. It is small enough to travel, not too heavy (even with 2 water loops), and sturdy and quiet. I'm not sure if the newest version is as good as the original, but it is certainly worth checking.
