HELP ME! Attempt to set date prior to 1995 aborted

my windows 2000 server domain controller is giving me this error, and from what i have researched, it is a "sanity Check".. as the w32time service did not exist prior to 1995..

ive always been a bit dumb with time servers.. but what could be doing this..

i cant find any virus's but i havent ruled it out..

Please help me

Why would you want to set the date on your server to a date that's over 12 years old?
 
Your CMOS isnt reseting the date and on boot your server is warning you that that date sounds a little loopy??
 
hah nice,

Im not trying to change my date at all, this is just a error in the Event Viewer.

As for it being the CMOS at boot, this server gets rebooted maybe once a month, its a Domain Controller and the main file server
