Hi, so i have a q6600 g0 i want to run 3.6ghz. i dont know why, its just a goal lol. anyways, so i can muck around in windows and whatnot at 3.6 with all that speedstep stuff disabled, but the moment i load it up, one second later it bluescreens. i've tried playing with vtt fsb termination nb sb voltages, but maybe i'm just not using the right combination of them. cpu voltage is set at 1.425 which gives me 1.400 with no vdroop because this is a p5k premium (no sata issues btw running raid 0 and raid 1 + dvdburner).

i dont think its vcore because 1.45 real wont stabilize it unless i have to go higher than that, but then i dont think my air cooling would tolerate that much heat. oh, ram is set auto which gives me 55519 even though its rated 44415 but i'm running it on the rated 2.1 volts just until i can get the cpu stable, then i'll work on the ram.

any help would be appreciated =] i'm currently running 3.2ghz (400x8) on 1.280 real volts prime stable 24 hours. :p

What are your idle and load temps along with ambient temperature(room temp). Try speedfan/coretemp/tat to monitor it as most problems arise when load temps go over 70C. Make sure your case has proper and good airflow. Lastly are u using air cooling or water setup. Make a sig with your computer stats, ie cpu/gpu/memory/mobo/case and whatnot. Its hard to help without knowing what your running. GL.

yeah maybe its temperature... i never get to see full load temps at 3.6ghz because it bluescreens. at 3.2 (400x8) @ 1.280 real volts i'm getting 37 idle 67 load average after 24 hours of prime95. i am using a thermalright HR-01-PLUS with a fan attached to it.

Q6600 g0
Thermalright HR-01-Plus w/ AS5 and120mm fan
P5k Premium
OCZ 6400 SLI Edition 2 gb
1 tb raid 0 WD
160 gb raid 1 WD
ATI 2900XT w/ TR HR-03/r600

sounds like you need more cpu vcore. I had to give mine 1.525 to get it to bench at 3.6, it isn't stable, but it is more stable. It runs way to hot at 3.6 though around 70-72c at load, so I am at 3.2.
