10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?
Laptop will come with it

was considering this one from Best buy. i like the i5 core and the ram on it but i wasn't sure if that was the average price i would pay for a lap top with those specs or if it was a good deal.

also what brands should i be looking at? I've had my last laptop for three years, and its still going strong. the only problem is that its not powerful enough for todays games. (this is my buddy posting)

Find and order a laptop online, as most B&M stores (like Best Buy) mainly have laptops that use onboard video. (Oh, and your link doesn't work.)

The majority of today's laptops with dedicated GPUs can play most DirectX 9 games at resonable levels.

i noticed the card in this laptop is one of the new ati cards that recently came out. can it do direct x 11 or is it only 9?

here are tahe specs for the laptop at best buy. is it worth 100 dollars more? or would i notice the differences?

nvidia card in that laptop, I don't have anything too compare it performance.

The GeForce Go GTS 360M that's in that Asus laptop is comparable to the desktop GeForce GTS 250 in terms of performance. No DX11 support in hardware for that GPU.

then its about 5-10% of each other but I would go with ATi, nvidia mobile products are not too par in terms of life cycles (personal bias)

No, not even the GTX285M is as fast as a GTS 250, though a GTS 360M is faster than an HD 5650.

The GPU will be able to handle MMOs and Blizzard-style games, but with my lack of knowledge regarding the new mobile GPUs available, I can't tell you how it compares to the GT 330M.
