Ok i recently bought these and i found out theres a problem with one of the inputs on the amp which makes one satelite weaker than the other i first noticed it when turning it up and then realized that it is stronger in every area vocals to beat.So i am going to take these back and i might get them from bestbuy this time, but i am willing to spend up to 200$ on speakers so i am looking at the klipsch i think the logi's sound a lil thin sometimes but i like them for the most part especially the sub,I would like to hear yalls inputs on the klipsch.I also found to get static outta these speakers and distortion at higher volumes i had the same with my old logi x-240s.I currently use the onboard sound on my biostar tforce 560 board.I am running vista i am also wanting to know if i upgraded to a sound card would my audio experience be better even if i end up getting the logi x-2300 thx speakers.I am looking at the sound blaster audigy SE and the turtle beach rivierra i think.

Also do you think the logitech g51 would be a good deal for my 360 and music listening along with movies maybe just as good as the 2300's.I would also need cable extensions to mount them on the wall opposite wall the tv would be on so i could mount them on the wall.

bump if no help about speaker purchase at least inform me about the soundcards compared to my onboard one.

Klipsch is decent for 'computer' speakers. Forget the Z-2300's, they're all bass with no midrange or highs.

As for your onboard audio, if you're hearing a lot of static, then a sound card should get rid of that static. Otherwise the difference is minimal unless you get some good headphones / speakers.

I've no advice on surround sound speakers.

i think there decent and i fear if i go klipsch that i will lose that really powerful bass that shakes the walls, but about the sound card would even a soundblaster or turtle beach riveria be better than my onboard sound on the tforce560.I don't experience static all that often but it happens and i would also like some better tweaking abilities than the onboard gives me,also do you think with the z-2300 the sound quality like clarity would improve.
