Hi all,

My brother is looking for a laptop and he shares my condition. Relevant things:
a) large screen preferred
b) He has used matt screen finishes in the past but really liked the clarity of my glossy screen so he's open to trying the latter and simply angle away from glare.
c) full size PC style keyboard critical
d) Budget £8-900
e) Runs both MAGIC and JAWS screen magnification/reading software all the time so having chunky RAM and a decent CPU is likely to help. He'll never play games so doubt vid card is too important.

Thanks very much for your help - it's been useful to me in the past!

google 17" laptops, get one that's in your range and has good reviews. you already have what you need for magnifying...
