Hey... have to be quick in case it happens again (like it did last time i was typing this). The other day I'd left my computer sitting for a few hours... not doing anything... came back and my monitor was in standby mode. Couldn't get it to come back on... restarted a few times (I could hear windows loading but no video), hooked it up to laptop and it worked fine... fiddled w/ vid card to make sure everything was in right and tight and eventually it came back on (though i don't know if it was just by chance or related to something i did). Thought all was fine until 5 mins ago it just shut off again. Had to restart a few times... then fiddled again and eventually it came back on (again... i have a feeling it has nothing to do w/ my fiddling). Then I was in bios backing down my speeds and stuff (memory's actually underclocked cuz of stupid dividers but cpu was overclocked from 2.6 to 3.3ish (245fsb)... and the screen went back again. After a few restarts and some actual computer crashes (not just the screen going black... actual computer crashing) all seems back to normal now *knock on wood*. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks lots.

lower the overclock, if i understood right, maybe your getting hardlocks or something. see if that helps.

It just seems weird... I had the fsb at 250 for almost a year. Lowered it to 245ish cuz it's sooooooooo hot in my house over the summer. I don't know why I'd start having problems w/ the oc now. Anyone else have an idea in case this isn't it? (i have it all the way down to 200 now to see if it helps).
