Yes I am King of the Newbies, have had brain operation so I am a few fries shy of a happy meal, so be gentile and explain step by step, thanks.
First I have a Dell XPS 410 computer with intergrated audio. I just ordered from Newegg the Logitech z-2300's 2.1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121122&Tpk=Logitech+Z-2300
Will this computer run those speakers, if not what sound card do I need, I not a gamer for sure.
OK, now the good part, I want to run HDTV through same speakers same time as computer, I have Comcast digital cable and a SA 8300 DVR, which on back of has two left/right analog outputs. The book that came with DVR said to run RCA cable to a regular TV to get sound, tried it and it works. OK Smart people what do I need, oh yea, can I get a extention cable for the control pod for the z-2300 speakers. Do I just plug in the new speakers in back of computer to get the left/right and sub sound, sorry if I'm a lamer, but
