Help!? Is this a good PSU ??

hmm doesn't have specs on different volt rails. I can't really help you, because I never bought this brand before. If you want really good PSU, I suggest you get enermax or antec.

You need to stick to name brands that have been tested thoroughly for performance value. Antec, Enermax, PC Power and Cooling, OCZ, Thermtaltake, Fortron, and Vantec are all top brands.

This is a thermaltake. It's just put out by Mad Dog.

You're sure it's a TT?

Well....the thermaltake logo is on the bottom left of the box (it's the yellow blur on the picture). I'm assuming this to mean that it is a thermaltake PSU that's been bundled by Mad Dog Techie Toyz.

PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. But if it is thermaltake....is it a good PSU?

Why exactly are you looking at buying this PSU anyways? Any particular reason? Price?

It's just down the road at the local Compusa. And only $129 for 550W (480W nominal).

Not a good idea?

470w will be all that you need i'm sure and its 12v rail is the same size as the 520w.
