Help Installing Harddrive

I just got a WD 74GB Raptor, and i am using a PCI SATA controller. When i went to install windows, i sent me right to BiOS. I put Save and Exit, and then a black screen popped up saying "Turn off power and restart jumpers in normal mode"
what should i do in bios?
whats this jumper in normal mode?
any help is greatly appreciated
