you don't know until you put it in a board and fire it up. Most ES's have unlocked multi's..... but quite a few don't !
 
Coolaler had an ES just like that, I dont recall if it was unlocked. If you dig through xtremesystems forums you might find the answer. He did hit 3.6ghz or so on LN2.
 
thanks, it doesn't look like it's unlocked, but that's no biggie! oh man my friend can't wait to fire this baby up!

LOL you cant tell if its unlocked or not by looking at it. Chances are if its an es then it will have an unlocked multi, the only thing is whats the speed and stock multi, if its as low as it goes it will have an umlocked multi but you wont have any options but the stocker, now if its a higher multi chip it will have more options on the multi part of things.

BTW it does look like a merom core.
