Been looking at all the options on a new monitor, but I am confused as to what is the best for me.
I basically would like a good 24" LCD monitor that doesn't cost a fortune for a frugal spender like me, as a upgrade that would be good for pc gaming and web browsing.
If any of you have suggestion let me know I would appreciate it.
Heard that a 1920x1200 would be ideal, if anyone could help me out with I would be in your debt thank you advance
Looking to spend about 250.00 or less, and would like to get a 1920x1200 resolution if possible.

Please don't ramble on without puncuation. We need to know what your needs are in regards to how you will use it: gaming, movies or word processing?

You are right I should of listed a price I thought I made clear in my ramblings but I need it mainly for web browsing and gaming I guess you missed that sorry if I didn't make it clear in the main post......

Thank you for replying smesx that's looks like a excellent monitor a bit higher then I would like to spend but for the little extra I might be worth it I will keep it open as a option as it does seem to have what I need.

as warren said, but more directly:
Don't ramble on without punctuation.

commas, periods, semicolons, dashes, etc
learn it - live it - love it

also, don't just ask the same question every 30 minutes again and again, it gets obnoxious

all of that aside
there is no 1900x1200, there is 1920x1080 and there is 1920x1200
that linked monitor is nice, there are also good options from Hannspree, HP, and other Samsung models in that size range, theres also the Samsung 2343 which is great imho (been enjoying mine)

I meant 1920x1200 sorry about that, I always feel intimidated when making a post, and I have some issues with fully understand punctuation outside of listed items sorry. :(

Can you at least stop using orange text? It's bad enough that I have to read a run-on sentence every time you post :)

Orange text on black background is hard to read.

That is fine I can alter all of the text in all of them to appear white if that will give me less hate overall. ><

Welcome to the forum aketolove. If people give you crap about your posting style ignore it. Do make efforts to make yourself understood though.

I suggest going to Newegg and using the filters to narrow down monitor choices...i.e. screen resolution = 1900 x 1080 etc. to see what is available.

Thank you, very much I will look into it if I don't find what I need here from this post.

One other thing I forgot to mention is that it might be wise to avoid newegg for LCD's. Their return policy is not as good as other for dead pixels. I think amazon's might be good. I just use newegg for research and reference for everything.

Yes your right I have read about newegg's return policy on LCD's which is always a hit or miss. You either get a perfectly working monitor, or get stuck with one that has just too few dead pixels to actually send it back to them
