Asus WL700gE 250gb Wifi Router

2 Desktop (win7 pro, winxp)
3 Laptops (win7 pro)
1 IP Cam

Problems: How to
1.) Blocking Porn and other adult sites
2.) "See" Network usage (Download/upload) from 1 pc
3.) "See" what are the softwares/website being run.
4.) "Limit" usage (if playing games 1-2hrs aday) but if studying (research, M$ word, etc) they can continue using the PC.

Kids (3-12yrs old)

#1 build a untangle box, put it in front of the router
#2 opendns < free
#Untangle on a box
#4 Untangle on a box.

read the untangle info... and i am not yet ready to take a plunged in that department yet...

don't have a spare box to install it to.

any other no cost ideas? (preferably windows based) i don't have any experience in other system

opendns on your router, setup an account, install there software & dns,

You won't be able to track or monitor traffic per computer but you will be able to stop spyware some viruses and porn.

Personally, look around at the junk or used stores / computer shops ask for a free p4 2.0 & faster computer, build a untangle machine, its VERY easy.!

Make sure its got at least 1gb ram & 80gb hdd, Should be REAL easy to pick up on the cheap. $50 shipped if you're half lucky. There was a guy in the forums selling some old Dell Dimensions and whatnot. Should work perfect. Just as long as shipping doesnt kill you.
