Ok so I'm going to use ridged tubing inside of my case then I'm going to an external radiator, pump and res. So I need a fixed mounting point on the case for the ridged tubing to connect to. I found the PCI slot ones http://www.frozencpu.com/products/22901/ex-blc-1644/Alphacool_HF_38_PCI_Slot_Pass_Thru_Adapter_29886.html?tl=g30c101s762

and http://koolance.com/l-bracket-with-dual-socket-fittings The Alphacool one looks to have promise. I should be able to make a plate of the same thickness to mount where those stupid rubber grommets are they put for water cooling.. I was wondering if any one knew of anything other fittings I could do this with or a better way.. I like the Alphacool but it looks like it going to add a bit of restriction. Thanks

I would also consider something like this passthrough fitting: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...g_Fillport_-_Chrome.html?tl=g30c101s460#blank

You then would use your normal rigid tubing compression fittings on each side. It depends upon your case too, which you haven't told us, as to whether this will work for you. It gives you an option for a passthrough out of the case that doesn't rely on being where the PCI expansion slots are though.

Note: The Alphacool bracket you listed is G3/8" fittings, which is pretty uncommon these days. Most fittings have standardized on G1/4" which is what the Koolance you listed and the bulkhead passthrough that I listed is.

I'm using a Nzxt H440 case. I'm going to be running 3x290's with ek block's with a tripple link connector. So using a pci slot pass through isn't going to work. So I want to mount the incoming connectors to the side where the rubber pass through is. The bulkhead connector could defiantly work. Plan is to use koolance quick disconnects on the out side of the case when I need to move the case or blow it out of cleaning..

Pic of the setup before water cooling.. you can see the rubber pass through to the side of the video cards..

At the bottom of the Alpacool it says (Should you not be using 3/8" connectors, low-profile adapter pieces are included to allow use of this slot cover with G1/4" fittings. )

The biggest problem you are going to have is because of the grommets there isn't a lot of area left to mount the bulkhead connectors. Your best bet might be to do a couple runs of normal tubing through the existing grommets.

If that solution doesn't work for you, then you could get a bit more in depth. You could buy a piece of aluminum, cut it down to the size to cover the grommet area. Then I would remove the rubber grommets and mount the aluminum plate over where the grommets are currently. Drill some holes in the new aluminum plate for the bulkhead connectors to go where the grommet holes are.

Only other spot to mount the bulkhead connectors might be above the rear fan, not sure if there is enough room there and it depends what you are planning on putting in the top. If you are putting a radiator there, likely there won't be the needed clearance.

.

This is the plan.. Just going to paint the plate black to match the case.

Will do have a few more items to pick up. Have all the fittings , gpu blocks, cpu block, ridgid bending kit, 9x140mm external rad, pump and res. Just need to order tubbing, MB block, bulkhead connectors, and a few other little things. Also have a few sheets of acrlic I'm going to cut and bend to hide all of the cables, at least that's the plan.
