Help - Gigabyte 8IK1100 + mushkin 222 = problems?

I have a gigabyte 8IK1100 and a P4 2.8C, when i first got it my mushkin 222 tested bad in memtest, so i rma'ed it. when i got the new ram my friend memtested it for me and it tested good at 460 @ 2.5-3-3-6.

so now when i put it in my system, my system will boot into windows and then freeze or bluescreens. if i go back to my pc2100 ram that ive been using, it works fine.

any ideas?

upped the voltage to 2.8 and it runs fine
