i need to know how to tell if your proccesor will work on the motherboard? i have no specs, if you could just give gereral advice.

find out what brand it is and whats the model number then google it, all the details and specs will show up

tell us what type of processor you want, we can recommend you some good motherboards.

So what you want is a Socket 478 motherboard, ideally based on the intel 865/875 chipsets.

What parts are you buying new and what parts do you already own?

the motherboard specs usually say how fast the CPU can be.

if you want the best mobo for your processor, get a one with an 865PE or 875P chipset. these are the most stable and support dual channel RAM configurations. will you be overclocking?
