Hi everyone,

I need to buy a new Intel mobo and a case to fit it all in.

I have the setup in my sig on a micro ATX board, all i need is a full ATX mobo and case.

Im really stumped as to what mobo and case to get....list of requirements is:

ATX
DDR 'not' DDR2 (have 2gig corsair DDR400)
Socket LGA775 for my P4 560 3.6
2 x Sata v1 (would prefer v2 but most come with DDR2)
1 PCI-E and at least 3 PCI
Supporting Chipset (not SIS ;) )
Good quality onboard sound
4 x or more USB 2.0
All other usual features....

...and a nice case to fit it all in

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, i know i could google this to death but would rather speak to REAL people who know what theyre on about...
Muchos gracias.

No mobo is for a brand new X1900XTX which dont fit on my current board :(

(see hereThread )

Please help, need advice, just want a new board and case to swap everything over onto.

Anyone any ideas of a good board? (DFI, Gigabyte, ASUS, ABIT, Foxconn?) PLEEEASE!!!!!!!

Anyone? Even a quick line to tell me what board manufacturers to look at?

Thanks

Cheers for the heads up bud, i'll take a look, though im from uk so might be slightly harder to find?

Another ideas for mobos anyone, i know im abit lazy but im at work at mo so can search much + i dont really have enough knowledge yet to know what im looking for in way of quality and features, so as i say any help is greatly appreciated!!!!! :p

Any ideas on a case too?

Mobo and case are for a P4 3.6, X1900XTX, and the rest of the stuff in my sig...my current case and mobo are too small.....and made by HP :(

CHEERS!!!!

That's an understatement. Go to www.newegg.com and look it up. Really, it took me about 2 seconds to find 39 different boards with what you are needing. Pick one that is an Intel Chipset (DO NOT buy anything with the name VIA, SIS, ATI in the name)

As i said, i admitted i am lazy but also at work + plus i am less informed as to what a good quality board is then you guys are....hence im asking for help/names/makes of board/chipset which are good quality and which will work. I have done some searching and have come up with these boards....please can anyone (preferably someone who doesnt have a superiority complex!) Give some kind and helpful advice on which too choose from this selection.....
