Okay, those nifty nylon mesh cable sleeves - Is there any place to get them aside from the 'net? What exactly, would I be asking for in Home Depot/Lowes/etc? And, are the prices cheaper in B&M stores?

The only place you would be able to find them would be some sort of BIG electronics (Not like Best Buy, more like Radio Shack) store, or a car audio place. Also, Wal-Mart sells some bows made out of the stuff (Might not be exactly the same, but it's darned similar! Just take the staple out and poof! About 3 feet of cable sleeving for $2 - expensive, but it works if you need it today.

(Interesting story behind the wal-mart thing: My cousin had taken one apart and was tying up her hair with it. Me (The perpetual geek that I am) recognized what it was and asked her where she got it. After a trip to Wal-Mart confirmed it (And got me 6 feet of sleeving ;)), I was happy :p)
