I figure this would probably be a good place to try this.

I'm not up on digi cams right now, but I'm looking for something around $200(300 at the most) is at least 3-4mp and it must have Image Stabilization.

Current camera is a Olympus C-700UZ, but I'd like to find something I can play around with and is small.

Hopefully there is something out here.
 
Canon A75 or Canon A95 (skip the A85 - pixel density on the sensor is to high, producing more noise than I would like).

image stabilization is generally only needed on the hyperzoom digi cams (8-12x, etc).

most everyday digicams have ~3-4x zoom where you dont need image stabilization.
