help! extremely messed up computer

i was installing windows, and whne i came to check on my computer, it was stuck on the screen that displays my motherboard "A7N8X Deluxe" (splash screen), it WILL NOT GO past this screen no matter what. what the hell am i supposed to do????? :mad: i can't reinstall windows, access bios , etc
 
Reset CMOS.

Either by

- removing the cmos battery for a half minute (looks like a big watch battery)
- Moving Cmos Jumper over
- Or if your motherboard has one, there may be a cmos reset button.
 
when i move the jumper over, do i have to turn on the computer or what? mine says clear cmos

You turn the computer off, reset the jumper, then turn it back on.

If that didn't work I honestly don't know what to do since I've never had or read about that particular situation.

I'd probably try redoing all the cabling myself.

If you have multiple hard drives or Optical drives make sure to have the jumpers on those set
