I bought an enermax power supply from newegg last january, everything has been going well except the back fan on the unit is vibrating alot and making alot of noise. my attempts to connect Enermax are in vain as they don't seem to like to answer their emails and they have no phone number. i have the 460W(P4)EG465AX-VE WFCA it's an expensive power supply...

any comments or help would be greatly appreciated

trying to get anything done outside the established channels just doesnt work
Ive heard the same complaint leveled against a few dozen companies
use the system in place and everthing should workout ;)
 
gr i just called maxpoint horrible, i was switched between two techs in a matter of minutes and both had no clue....
 
Is there anyway i could replace the fan myself? It connects with a smaller 3 pin fan. Enermax will not sell me one, is there any third party places that will?
 
yes it that, but the problem is the connector is smaller than a standard 3 pin one for a motherboard...should i wipe out the soldering iron and connect the wires with another fan?
 
sure you can do that, or, try to loacte a fan tailed with thye right connector
(a pic in case modding might do wonders for that)
or replace the connector on the new fan with one from molex

but double check that 25mm, sometimes PSU fans are "special"
Ive seen 20mm on occassion

as far as the tail goes, cruise Sunon, ect
to see if there are options you might get special ordered, and check electronics suppliers
