I've got an 8-pin ATX 12v extension that I'm trying to sleeve. Using a pin removal tool, the male-side pins come out fine, but I can't seem to figure out the female side.

Ideas?

There is a small metal tab on either side of the metal cylinder that prevents it from retracting. You need to bend those two tabs inward and then you'll be able to remove the pins.

I'm thinking a thin tube with inside diameter just large enough to go over the pin, then push in from front, pull out from back.
