i currenlty have win 7 x64 on my main 500gb ssd and want to dual boot with windows 10 on a seperate hard drive. and this is what i did.
unplugged the hard drive witn windows 7 connected blank SSD. installed windows 10 booted up just fine. shutdown pc. connected win7 500gb ssd and now boots up to win7. i tried to press f12 on boot up and select the win10 ssd and it still boots into windows 7 ssd.
