Help:Doom3:Can not run

how r u today ?

my computer's spec:
60 GB hardisk (20 and 40 GB)
AGP Nvidia MX 4 128 MB <<< im not quite sure, 64 or 128, i guess 128
Asus motherboard P4S533-MX
Pentium 4 1.8 GHz
memory Iwill 256 MB DDR PC1200

i have problem here. i download Doom 3 using torrent. and i have doom3 in iso file.
i load them using magicDisc, installed them, all ran smooth.
after instalation i can not open the game. first start my screen turn grey and then black, i can hear the opening sound and finally...

This instruction at "0x055137f9" referenced memory at "0x0000000". the memory could not be "read"

my thoughts
1. i need more memory (minimum 512)
2. my graphic card not supported
3. Any other thoughts ???

what do you think ? so it is true Doom 3 really needs high engine quality

thats what you get when you use pirated stuff.. there no garentee and thus no support, it *should* work, but that dosent mean it will.. on that note, piracy is frowned upon around here, dont look for these guys to help you get it up and running, you wan tit to work.. buy it.. if it still dosent work, then come talk to us

(btw... thats a pretty wimpy pc to run doom 3... )

#1 Don't talk about pirated games here as thore said...buy the game and support the developer. Doom 3 is about $20-30 now.

#2 Your computer needs at least a better vid card than what you have probably integrated into your mobo. You need more(better) ram also---PC1200? Might as well have an Atari 2600.

Any current game will not run well on that and I'm surprised Windows does. Doom 3 will not run well on what you have now, even if you can get your pirated copy to work. And then refer to #1 above.
