 ok Look, ive got a 9800 Pro a AMD Athlon xp 2000+ two 80GB WD 8MB Cache HDDs and a gigabyte 2004 RZ mobo, but i dont think my computer is running as good as it should. I dont even get 100 FPS in CS 1.6.. Is there a preformanc ebottleneck or something? What should i upgrade next to get more preformance?

well first thing is first, what kind of ram do you have? Ram aside I would say that the only thing that is keeping your system back is your processor but that should still get you 100 FPS in 1.6 so I would have to go with your ram is what is messing you up at this point.

Try bumping up your RAM to 1 gigabyte or more for the most significant performance increase on your current configuration.

Given the processor and motherboard you possess, a three hundred dollar plus video card upgrade would be constricted by the aforementioned components.

You could also try a complete cleaning of your OS or even a reformat to assist with performance issues.

Good luck.

Thanks vage, i wil lprobably get new RAM and new Processor, AMD 64 probably. And setscrew, trust me ive reformatted and reinstall xp MANY MANY times WELL over 10...
